You can map a to a when you create a virtual disk or a disk group. You can also map the host at a different time.
Attention:
Possible loss of data access – In some cases, the host operating system does not support mapping a source virtual disk and the associated snapshot virtual
disk to the same host, host group, or node in a cluster. Map a snapshot virtual disk to a single separate host instead.
Map now – The most convenient way to map a virtual disk to a host is to do so when you create a virtual disk. If the host is not
available, you must map the host at a different time.
Map at a different time – You must map at a different time if the host that you want to map to is not available, not listed, or connected to the
storage array after you have created the virtual disk.
