Resume Remote Virtual Disk Mirror

This command resumes a suspended Remote Virtual Disk Mirror operation.

Syntax

resume remoteMirror (primary [virtualDiskName] | primaries [virtualDiskName1 ... virtualDiskName]) writeConsistency=(TRUE | FALSE)]

Parameters

Parameter Description

primary or primaries
The name of the primary virtual disk for which you want to resume operation. You can enter more than one virtual disk name. Enclose the virtual disk name in square brackets ([ ]). If the virtual disk name has special characters, you must also enclose the virtual disk name in double quotes (" ").

writeConsistency
Defines whether the virtual disks identified in this command must be in a write-consistency group or can be separate. For the virtual disks to be in the same write-consistency group, set this parameter to TRUE. For the virtual disks to be separate, set this parameter to FALSE.

Notes

If you set writeConsistency to TRUE, the virtual disks must be in a write-consistency group (or groups). The action of the command is to resume all consistency groups containing the virtual disks. For example, if virtual disks A, B, and C are in a consistency group and they have remote counterparts A', B' and C', the command resume remoteMirror virtualDisk ["A"] writeConsistency=true resumes A-A', B-B', and C-C'.
