Download EMM Card Firmware

This command downloads enclosure firmware.

Syntax

download (allEnclosures | enclosure [trayID]) firmware file="filename"

Parameters

Parameter Description

trayID
Identifies the enclosure containing the environmental card to which you want to load new firmware. Enclosure ID values are 0 to 99. Enclose the enclosure ID value in square brackets ([ ]).

filename
The file path and filename of the file containing the firmware image. Enclose the firmware image file path and filename in double quotes (" ").

You can

Use the allEnclosures parameter to down load new firmware to all the enclosures in the storage array.
Use the enclosure parameter to down load new firmware to a specific enclosure. If you need to download new firmware to more than one enclosure, but not all enclosures, you will need to enter this command for each enclosure.
