Delete Virtual Disk

This command deletes one or more standard virtual disks or snapshot and snapshot repository virtual disks.

Caution: Potential storage array configuration damage. All data in the virtual disk is lost as soon as you run this command.

Syntax

delete (allVirtual Disks | virtualDisk [virtualDiskName] | virtual disks [virtualDiskName1 ... virtualDiskNamen])

Parameters

Parameter Description

allVirtual Disks
Use this parameter to delete all virtual disks in a storage array.

virtualDiskName
Name of the virtual disk you want to delete. You can enter more than one virtual disk name. Enclose the virtual disk name in square brackets ([ ]). If the virtual disk name has special characters, you must also enclose the virtual disk name in double quotes (" ").

Notes

When you use the allVirtual Disks parameter, this command deletes virtual disks until all virtual disks are removed or until an error is encountered. If an error is encountered, this command will not attempt to delete the remaining virtual disks.
