Delete Host Group

This command deletes a host group.

Caution: This command will delete all host definitions in the host group.

Syntax

delete hostGroup [hostGroupName]

Parameters

Parameter	Description
hostGroupName	Name of the host group you want to delete. Enclose the host group name in square brackets ([ ]). If the host group name has special characters, you must also enclose the host group name in double quotes (" ").

Notes

A host group is an optional topological element that is a collection of hosts that share access to the same virtual disks. The host group is a logical entity.
