You can view the XML structure of an API, with or without connecting to the server.
You must be connected to a server to view the result. If you are not connected, you are prompted to connect when you try to execute an API.
1. Select an API category from the API explorer on the left-hand pane.
2. Choose an API name under the API category.
3. Right-click the selected API, and click Generate.
Result: The input pane is populated with the XML structure, and the API name is displayed in the Added APIs pane on the right-hand side.
4. Click Execute icon to obtain the results from the server, which are displayed on the second horizontal pane.

2. Press and hold the Ctrl key and select the API names.
3. Click the Generate icon.
Note: The icon is a right arrow next to the API explorer drop-down box.
Result: The input pane is populated with the XML structure, and the API names are displayed in the Added APIs pane on the right-hand side.

The input XML structure is displayed in the same order in which you selected the APIs. You can change the order of the APIs by using the three arrows displayed in the Added APIs pane. |
4. Click Execute to obtain the results from the server, which are displayed on the XML/Tree pane.
